“a 3,112-acre Pennsylvania state park”
Presque Isle State Park /ˌprɛsk.ˈaɪl/ is a 3,112-acre Pennsylvania state park on an arching, sandy peninsula that juts into Lake Erie, 4 miles west of the city of Erie, in Millcreek Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania, in the United States.
We enjoyed our visit to Presque Isle State Park. There are several beaches to explore and a 13-mile path around the peninsula, great for biking, walking, running, etc. We rented bicycles and rode the path within 2-hrs; beautiful morning ride!
Stunning beaches!
Presque Isle is a beautiful series of beaches. I plan on kayaking there this summer. I do, however, wish that there was lodging available on Presque Isle.
Wouldn't go as final destination, but was a very nice stop to relax passing through on our road trip with children 4,8,11. Nice bike trails with bike rentals available -- which we also enjoyed.
Absolutely beautiful clear water white sand a little rocky in parts but there's 13 amazing beaches boat launches playgrounds picnic areas definitely worth the trip
