“most impressive waterfalls in all of Wisconsin”
One of the most beautiful falls in the Midwest. Drops 90 feet into the Potato River southwest of Gurney. Town park with rustic campsites and a picnic area is available. This is one of the most impressive waterfalls in all of Wisconsin, especially if you are looking for some adventure. The waterfall is large, easy to find and provides all sorts of opportunities for exploration. There is also a nearby upper falls that is equally as impressive. Definitely worth visiting.
Amazing place to see in the fall! Many great photo opportunities! A lot of stars to get to some of the viewing areas, but well worth the hike! Visited this past autumn and I plan on going back, preferably in the summer as you have to wade through water to get to the Lower Falls. Loved it!
We thought we were lost driving back to find the trail. If you feel like you might be trespassing on private property and are seeing gun shots through all of the road sings, you're probably in the right spot. We visited in late spring, and it was gorgeous. We climbed down and walked along the lower falls. Definitely worth the stop!
