Twede's Cafe (Double R Diner Twin Peaks Filming Location)

My boyfriend and I are Twin Peaks fans, so naturally we wanted to stop here to have coffee and pie. Unfortunately, our waitress was so rude we just had coffee and left. I have a friend that visited the diner a couple of months before us and said her server was also rude.
You should still visit if you're a fan of TP. Maybe just don't expect any friendly, small-town charm.

Thompson Cafe was built in 1941 and was witness to the end of the Depression, WWII and the timber industry boom. The cafe underwent a change of hands in the ‘50s and became known as the Mar-T Cafe as well as a favorite stomping ground for locals and mountain travelers.

In 1990, David Lynch was scouting filming locations for Twin Peaks and came upon the Mar-T and fell in love with the cafe and the Snoqualmie Valley altogether. Visitors should try the “Twin Peaks cherry pie” and their “damn fine cup o’coffee.”

Great place to stop if you're a Twin Peaks fan to peruse all the memorabilia. If you aren't a fan of the show, this is a typical diner. Decent coffee and excellent cherry pie.

Despite being a cool place to visit if you're a fan of Twin Peaks, the diner itself is your typical greasy spoon. There is a mini museum to the show inside, as well as a mural in the back alley which is pretty cool.

Sadly though, it was not a "damn fine cup of coffee".

We went past this on the Snoqualmie Train. Mt. Si is in the background behind it. There is a mural behind the diner in the back about Twin Peaks. We didn't have time to stop and eat afterwards, but it was open and looked relatively busy.

We have traveled 8 states so far on our trip and stopped at a variety of places- this was the best meal and service we have had so far! The homemade hand cut fries - awesome - the pB&j burger made my kids speechless - but the banana cream pie was so good my son said give it 50 stars!! The quirkiness of the seat yourself diner is a must stop on a journey along the 90!

Twin Peaks fan must visit. I wish though that they kept more of the interior from the tv show. Opening hours is great. I mange to get breakfast before heading on down the road to Portland.

Excellent food and great service. Loved the cherry pie and coconut pie!

We were driving near here and stopped for breakfast and a few photos! The bacon was AMAZING! The booths are getting a little rundown, but it's still a great little diner!
